When I asked my Taiwanese friend to recommend a good hot pot restaurant in Taipei, he said without hesitation – Orange Shabu Shabu House. There was no debate, no deliberation. Orange Shabu Shabu House, according to him, was the best hot pot restaurant in Taipei.
Taiwan’s creative parks are basically arts and design venues. They’re like museums or galleries that are less formal and more urban and gritty in feel. We tried our hand at urban shrimping in Taipei a few years ago and had the best time. So when I saw this Hualien night shrimping tour on Kkday, I didn’t give it much thought. Urban shrimping is fun, but here, we’d be doing it for real in an actual river. Awesome!
The Dessert Museum isn’t really a museum but a pastel-hued attraction dedicated to candy and sweets. It boasts eight themed rooms, each inspired by a different confection like donuts, marshmallows, and gummy bears. If you like sweets and Instagram, then you’re going to love this place.
